Modified: PM 2003-03-26 Implementation now actually uses field 8 (accession number).
PM 2004-01-22 Filename changed to "peptidesForQuantitationFormat.txt".
File name: peptidesForQuantitationFormat.txt
This document describes the format of the plain text file
that is used to quantify a number of peptides given a MCR
value and a retention time interval.
Each peptide is specified on one line with TAB separated fields. Peptide
lines have the fixed string "PF" in the first field. All other lines are ignored.
Field 1: fixed string "PF"
Field 2: Sequence
Field 3: MCR value. Unit: Thomson
Field 4: retention time, center. Unit: seconds. For informational
purposes only. It may or may not be the average of
field 5 and field 6.
Field 5: retention time start. Unit: seconds.
Field 6: retention time end. Unit: seconds.
Field 7: Charge
Field 8: Protein accession number. To track where the peptide came from.
Field 9: Not yet (what is it???): Retention time for instrument MS/MS sequence event. Unit: seconds.
Field 10: Not yet (what is it???): Retention time for LC peak detection. Unit: seconds.
